Madama Butterfly

Madama Butterfly, was filled with dark aspects to love and lust. It introduces both perspectives that was combined into a treacherous and sorrowful story. The creative work on this opera animation was absolutely astonishing comparisons to attachment, i.e. the umbilical cord that was attached to the mother and child which also implied that she had a part of her lover with her still, until the he himself had ripped the child and himself away from the mother.
The animation was a lot less painless to watch and more entertaining. I also noticed it has similarities to the animation Coraline, with the usage of fabric and clay. In addition, both are very grim and they both take love into account.
In conclusion, this had introduced me into the world of opera and how it tells many great stories within the performance and especially the vocal portion. Both parts of the opera compliment each other to enhance the emotions. Madama Butterfly (animated version) has been my favorite opera so far.
